This year has started with great enthusiasm for the number of new projects I am undertaking, including the new website I have just presented, which includes a new design, new photos, updated information on upcoming concerts and activities, as well as a selection of multimedia files and information about all the CDs that I have had the opportunity to record. In addition, in this last section there is the possibility of acquiring some of these recordings, especially the last two CDs, those dedicated to Johann Sebastian Bach and Antonio de Cabezón.
The year 2019 brings new concerts, and many more that will be appearing on the schedule soon, which will take place in countries such as Spain, France, Portugal, Germany, Switzerland, Colombia, etc. and for the first time I will have the opportunity to perform in countries such as Japan and China. All of them are exciting projects!
Other long-distance projects such as the diffusion of the music of Antonio de Cabezón through the instrument inspired by the “claviorgan” Hauslaib of the Museu de la Música de Barcelona, will continue this year in places such as the Círculo del Liceo, in Barcelona, and the FEMAP (Ancient Music Festival of the Pyrenees). There will also be those that are already traditional – and stimulating for me – silent film films with improvised music in the cathedrals of Ávila and Valladolid.
Also, in my role as conductor, I will work once again with the Baroque Orchestra of Tenerife with a program based on G. Ph. Telemann, in a partnership that is consolidated after three years of projects together.
In short, an exciting year full of musical projects that I hope to share with many people!
