The photo of the coast of the organs of the Gomera (Canary Islands) illustrates very well the combination of music and summer in the coming months.

After the concerts of the last months so stimulating and in countries as diverse as Spain, France, Switzerland, Portugal, Colombia and Japan, come the concerts of these summer months with prominence of the silent films, since I will have the opportunity to make a new version of the improvisations on the film “Faust” (1926) of F. W. Murnau in the cathedrals of Ávila and Valladolid, as well as in the Cavaillé-Coll organ of the Church of La Merced in Burgos.

In addition, I want to highlight the concerts with the claviorgan of Gerhard Grenzing in the Ancient Music Festival of the Pyrenees. This instrument, inspired on the Hauslaib claviorgan (1590) that is preserved in the Museu de la Música in Barcelona, will serve once again to pay homage to the esteemed Antonio de Cabezón and his music.

Finally, I am very excited to share a concert with the wonderful trumpeter Mireia Farrés in Castelló d’Empúries, as well as the participation in the Festival d’Orgue de Masevaux (Alsace), without forgetting the already traditional end of summer concert in Montserrat that belongs to the Organists Masterclasses in which I have participated for many years.
